Eligibility Criteria
1. Educational Qualification:
- Candidates must have passed 12th (+2 Stage) or its equivalent with at least 50% marks in the aggregate.
- Relaxation: The minimum 50% marks rule is not applicable for SC, ST, Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD), Ex-Servicemen, and candidates possessing higher educational qualifications than 12th.
- Candidates awaiting final results of the prescribed educational qualification are NOT eligible to apply.
2. Age Limit(As of 01.01.2027):
- Minimum Age: 18 Years
- Maximum Age: 30 Years.
- Upper Age Relaxation:
SC & ST candidates: 5 Years.
OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates: 3 Years.
PwBD (UR & EWS) candidates: 10 Years
3. Application Fee:
- General / OBC / EWS Candidates: ₹ 500/- (An amount of ₹ 400/- will be refunded after deducting bank charges upon appearing in the 1st Stage CBT).
- SC / ST / Ex-Servicemen / PwBD / Female / Transgender / Minorities / EBC Candidates: ₹ 250/- (This fee will be fully refunded after deducting bank charges upon appearing in the 1st Stage CBT).
- Payment Mode: Online via Net Banking, Debit/Credit Card, or UPI
How to Apply
Eligible candidates can apply online through the unified official portal by following these simple steps:
- Visit the unified official RRB website: indianrailways.gov.in.
- Click on the registration link to "Create an Account" using your mobile number and Email ID. Candidates are highly advised to authenticate their identity via Aadhaar or DigiLocker.
- Log in with your credentials, choose only one RRB (e.g., RRB Guwahati or RRB Siliguri), and submit your post/zone preferences.
- Capture a live photograph using a webcam or mobile front camera against a plain white background wearing dark-colored clothing.
- Upload a scanned copy of your signature written with a black ink pen on white paper (File size: 30 KB to 49 KB, JPG/JPEG format).
- Complete the examination fee payment online.
- Review your details carefully and submit the application form. Print a copy for your future reference.
