Eligibility Criteria
1. Educational Qualification:
(1)Sub-Inspector in Delhi Police & CAPFs (GD)
Essential Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or equivalent
. Driving License (Only for Male Candidates applying for Delhi Police SI): Must possess a valid Driving License for LMV (Motorcycle and Car) on the date of PE&MT
. Candidates without a driving license will only be considered for CAPFs posts .
(2) Sub-Inspector (Fire) in CISF
Bachelor’s Degree in Science with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics from a recognized University; OR
10th standard pass along with a 3-year Diploma in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Automobile, Chemical, Mining, Aeronautical, or Telecommunication Engineering
2. Age Limit (as on [01-08-2026]):
- 20 to 25 years for regular SI posts.
- For SI (Fire) in CISF: 18 to 30 years.
- Age Relaxation: Upper age relaxation is applicable as per government norms (SC/ST: 5 years, OBC: 3 years, Ex-Servicemen: as per rules).
3. Application Fee:

How to Apply
- One-Time Registration (OTR):Visit the official website at ssc.gov.in or download the mySSC app. Click on Login or Register > Register Now, enter your basic details, and verify using mobile and email OTP to generate your Registration Number.
- Fill the Application Form:Log in with your registration details and click Apply under the SSC CPO 2026 notification. Enter your educational qualifications, select your 3 exam centre preferences, and choose your exam language.
- Capture Live Photo & Upload Signature:Take a real-time photo using your webcam or smartphone (plain background, good lighting, no cap or glasses). Upload your scanned signature in JPEG format (size: 10 KB – 20 KB).
- Pay Fee & Submit:Review your details carefully. Pay the application fee of Rs. 100 via UPI, Net Banking, or Debit Card (exempted for Women, SC, ST, and Ex-Servicemen).
- Print Form:Download and save the final confirmation page for future reference.
