| Rifleman (Lineman Field / Electrical Fitter Signal / Electrician Motor Vehicle / Instrument Mechanic / Metalsmith / Upholster / Welder): | Class 10th (Matric) pass with relevant ITI Trade Certificate or Diploma. Age Limit: 18 to 23 Years. |
| Rifleman (Recovery Vehicle Mechanic): | 10th pass with ITI in Recovery Vehicle Mechanic and valid HMV / Transport Driving License OR 10th pass with valid HMV License. Age Limit: 18 to 23 Years. |

Selection Process
The recruitment process consists of the following consecutive stages:
- RFID-based Physical Standard Test (PST) & Physical Efficiency Test (PET).
- Document Verification.
- Computer Based Test (CBT) – 100 Marks.
- Trade / Skill Test (Qualifying nature).
- Detailed Medical Examination (DME) & Review Medical Examination (RME).
- Final Merit List.
